Hypothesis – That by working harder on having conversations, coaching, mentoring, speaking and writing my business will grow faster than just thinking about it.
(The perfectionist inside found it necessary to set that out).
I was reminded today of a quote: "The harder I work the luckier I get"
A work colleague said it years ago and a podcast today repeated it. Therefore I am going to test the theory this month (AKA keep motivated during January). The second part of this experiment will include testing another quote:
"If you don’t ask, you don’t get", as the answer will always be no. Therefore I will remember to ask for help with knowledge, introductions and referrals and offer the same. It also struck me that something you say may stay with someone a long time, so why not be remembered for encouraging them. Thank you to those that have encouraged me now and along the way.
